Color Palette Contest Winners

It's time to announce the winners for our recent Color Palette Contest! And, I say winners (plural) because I have decided to feature two first place winners...one vote driven and one editor's choice! After I reviewed all of the entries that were featured, I have chosen this board as a my pick...

Although there were so many boards that I loved, I chose this one because I felt like the designer really took the challenge to a new level. She found an image that completely inspired her and she ran with it. I love the vibrancy of the color palette, the beautifully cultural approach and the infusion of different textures and patterns. Great job!

I am still working on the reader voted winner as we have had a few discrepancies with the actual voting process. This winner will be announced over the weekend! Both designers will win a $250 gift certificate to their favorite online store.

Congratulations to everyone that entered! We will be launching a new site (very soon!) and I am going to be featuring my favorite palettes in the color palette section. Plus, I am saving those that didn't make it up this round for our next color palette contest.

I hope everyone had a great holiday weekend! We spent the last few days working on our new site design, which we are really hoping to reveal next week...so exciting!

Since we didn't get to post the remaining entries in our Color Palette Contest on Friday, we are going to finish up today then start the voting tomorrow. Let's get right to it!

July 4th!

Happy 4th of July everyone! This is honestly one of my favorite holidays. The food, the family, the fireworks. Love it all. And guess what...I am passing it all up this weekend to work on getting our new Style Me Pretty site design fine tweaked and brushed off, so that we can launch it on our goal of July 15th.

So, in lieu of posts today, I am going to leave you with lots of Patriotic wishes and one very Patriotic Color Palette!
